ION4RAW PROJECT

This project has received funding from the European Commission Horizon 2020 Research and Innovation Program.

The main objective of Ion4Raw project is to develop a novel and sustainable iono-metallurgical process to resource and cost-effectively recovery of mainly by-products from primary sources (and the main metal in the ore), i.e. ores and concentrates following a complete value chain.

As a partner of the project, Cumbrex fulfills the identifying role in the country of geological environments and mining operations with the potential for the recovery of by-products. In this way, the results of the project are scaled globally. The success of the project would guarantee Cumbrex participation in the commercial development of the technology.
